As we know, education plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring CPAs. Recognizing the importance of providing financial assistance to students and other emerging professionals, the MACPA Foundation has established a scholarship program to support those who are pursuing a career in accounting, allowing for a diverse and successful future profession. 

The MACPA Foundation works to build a strong talent pipeline with resources for future CPAs and educators, supporting diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, providing training, granting scholarships and facilitating mentorship connections in order to increase growth and engagement. Annually, the foundation invests thousands of dollars in multiple academic scholarships tailored to both need and student achievement. This enables scholarship recipients to overcome financial barriers and fulfill their career aspirations. The application for academic scholarships is open January 1 - April 25, 2024, with the announcement of award recipients scheduled for May.

To further enhance the support offered, the MACPA Foundation also offers CPA Exam and Exam Review fee scholarships . The CPA Exam scholarship reimburses successful applicants $1,000 to cover exam fees. New this year: applicants can apply after each exam session, eliminating the need to wait until completion of all four parts. The CPA Exam Review scholarship offers lifetime access to the Universal CPA Exam Review Programs (valued at $799), providing a comprehensive study resource for eligible candidates. The accessibility of these scholarships year-round ensures a continuous opportunity for students and CPA candidates to benefit from this invaluable support.
