A seasoned professional with more than 30 years of experience in and around the public accounting profession, both in practice and as a consultant. Currently serves as executive programs director at 20-20 Services LLC. Starting in Feb 2024, for nearly 2 years he served as operations director at CLA, while also periodically providing leadership development training programs for 20-20 Services. From 2018 through 2022, he was the managing partner of the Washington, D.C., offices of Citrin Cooperman. Through his career, he has held various roles including founder / president at 20-20 Services, president of AuditWatch, and senior manager at Ernst & Young. A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Bo also has a certification in leadership coaching from Georgetown University. He was recognized in 2004 by Accounting Today as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting.

A member of the MACPA since 2010, Barrett Young, CPA, is the Tax and Marketing Partner at
GWCPA, where he helps lead the transformation of an 80-year-old firm through clarity, technology,
and foresight. With twenty years of experience advising privately held and family-run businesses, he
specializes in turning complex tax, succession, and leadership challenges into practical, actionable
strategies. He also hosts The Art of Succession podcast, where he explores the real-world
challenges of leadership transition, ownership transfer, and business legacy. Prior to joining the
MACPA Executive Committee, Barrett served on the Maryland Board of Public Accountancy from
2019-2025, and is still active in NASBA.
Outside of work, Barrett is an extensive reader, and enjoys trail running and lifting, playing bass and
guitar, and spending time with his wife and two teens. His approach to both business and life is the
same: stay curious, bring others along, and keep building something that lasts.

A well-credentialed and highly respected executive with over 25 years of leadership in internal audit across the financial services, public utility, and government sectors. She holds degrees from Notre Dame of Maryland University and The Ohio State University and is actively engaged in professional advancement and public service. Maxene currently serves on the AICPA Council, is the Immediate Past President of ISACA–Central Maryland Chapter, is a Board Member of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation, and a Board Member of the University of Maryland Capital Region Health. She also sits on the board of the Association of Inspectors General and advises the Washington Area Women’s Foundation.
A MACPA Mentor and 2018 Women to Watch award winner, Maxene is the recipient of the 2021 AICPA Outstanding CPA in Local Government Impact Award and is widely recognized for her commitment to ethical leadership, accountability, and professional development.

Daniel Beil is a Partner in RSM’s Business Applications consulting practice, bringing over 30 years of experience in accounting and consulting. He leads the firm’s Cloud Native ERP consulting services, specializing in helping mid-market companies optimize operations, margins, and profitability through the use of cloud-based CRM and ERP solutions.
Before joining RSM, Daniel held senior leadership roles at several top-tier consulting firms. He was a Partner at IBM Global Business Services, where he led global client programs post-acquisition of PwC Consulting, where he was also a Partner. His consulting career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and prior to that, he served as an accountant, controller and CFO for a manufacturing company.
Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, golfing, traveling, scuba diving, and spending winters in Florida.

Mary D. Kane is President & CEO of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, where she leads the organization’s efforts to strengthen Maryland’s business community and serve as a leading voice for employers across the state.
An attorney and accomplished executive, Mary has held leadership roles across state, federal, and global organizations. She previously served as Maryland’s Secretary of State, Executive Director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO of Sister Cities International, and Director of the National Museum of American Diplomacy at the U.S. Department of State.
Mary also served as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Mount St. Mary’s University and has been recognized by The Daily Record and the Baltimore Business Journal for her leadership and impact. She brings a strong commitment to Maryland’s business community and an interest in MACPA’s advocacy and engagement efforts to her service on the MACPA Board of Directors.

Matthew Schell is the Managing Partner of the National Office within the Audit business unit at Crowe. In this role, he leads the firm’s professional standards, quality, regulatory, and public policy groups. The National Office drives the development of firm perspectives on professional practice matters and leads implementation of Crowe’s system of quality management, ensuring compliance with professional standards through consultation, ongoing monitoring, internal and external inspections, and collaboration with oversight bodies. Through technical guidance, publications, webcasts, training sessions, and other forums, the group provides strategic thought leadership on emerging issues, promotes consistent audit quality across engagements, and strengthens the firm’s commitment to high audit quality. Dr. Royce D. Burnett is the Dean of the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University. After over 17 years of experience in public accounting and corporate finance, including roles at two Big Four firms, two Fortune 500 companies, as well as establishing a successful accounting practice, Dean Burnett transitioned to academia, earning his PhD in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 2003. He has since held key academic and administrative leadership positions at Old Dominion University, Southern Illinois University, and the University of Miami. In these roles, he championed curriculum development, fundraising, and accreditation. His research focuses on cost management, sustainability, and public sector accountability, and he has published extensively in top-tier journals. Dean Burnett is known for building transformative educational experiences and fostering community and industry partnerships.

Tricia Katebini has spent her career in public accounting, specializing in the nonprofit sector since 2007. As an audit partner, she is in charge of and responsible for the planning and managing of financial statement audits and Single Audits, when applicable. Ms. Katebini has served a range of nonprofit clients including charities, foundations, private schools, and associations.
A seasoned speaker on technical accounting topics affecting nonprofits, Ms. Katebini has presented at AICPA, MACPA, GWSCPA, and other accounting and nonprofit industry conferences. She has built a strong reputation for serving as a key advisor to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Washington, D.C. and across the nation. Her nonprofit audit experience includes proficiency in technical accounting issues and the requirements under Uniform Guidance. She also provides valued guidance to clients on new accounting pronouncements.
In addition to being passionate about her clients, Tricia aims to be a trailblazer and innovator, being on the forefront of technology as it affects the CPA profession. She has served internally as her firm’s leader in the transformation of GRF’s assurance practices, remaining committed to quality and proficiency.
Ms. Katebini currently serves on the AICPA’s Joint Trial Board, a well-respected position within the CPA community, as well as a member of the Digital CPA Conference Advisory Board and CaseWare’s Client Advisory Board. She received the 2025 AICPA Global Women to Watch Award, the 2021 Woman to Watch Award, the Maryland Association of CPAs’ 2022 Max Teichmann Award, and was recently recognized on the Forbes 2026 Best-In-State CPAs list. Ms. Katebini is also a proud member of GRF’s Women on the Move, GRF’s women’s leadership initiative.
