I am 100% independent and thrive on helping "everyday people" make the most of their hard-earned money. Book a session with me to get started! I am passionate about educating Americans about money and providing independent, unbiased financial coaching to enable people to become more financially secure. I do this through one-on-one coaching and facilitating online courses as well as through freelance writing, blogging, volunteering, speaking engagements and regular media appearances. Much of my media exposure comes from my involvement with the National CPA Financial Education Advocacy Group. I have been published in the Wall Street Journal and I wrote the Weekly Savings Tip for feedthepig.org, an award-winning former collaboration between the AICPA and the AdCouncil. As part of this, I have hosted two national satellite media tours and have been interviewed on NBC National, Fox Business and WGN Chicago about financial topics including couples and money, tax tips and saving for the costs of summer. One of my strengths is the ability to simplify complex ideas and I use this skill throughout my professional and volunteer roles. I have held positions in several areas of the financial services industry, marketing, communications, financial planning and public accounting while remaining active in the financial literacy community and in leadership positions with the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago. Page 1 of 5 I'm a Midwestern native with Midwestern values, thriving in the Sonoran desert outside Tucson, Arizona. My husband and I spend our time hiking, playing pickleball, laughing at our 2 cats and marveling at the fulfilling social life we created after moving across the country in our mid-40's to a place where we knew no one. Here to testify that it's possible to make friends in your 40's, even if you don't have kids and even if you work from home. My life motto is: It doesn't have to suck to count. In other words, you can achieve great things especially when you enjoy the process. Let's find your financial bliss!
