MACPA Foundation announces 2026 Academic Scholarship recipients and $125,000 anniversary commitment
In honor of the MACPA’s 125th anniversary, the MACPA Foundation is investing $125,000 in scholarships and career support to help strengthen the future CPA pipeline in Maryland.
As part of that commitment, the Foundation awarded $70,500 in academic scholarships to 35 accounting students attending colleges and universities throughout Maryland and beyond. The overall anniversary investment also includes CPA exam fee reimbursements and CPA exam prep course awards designed to support aspiring CPAs as they pursue licensure and launch their careers.

Recipients will also be recognized live at Elevate & Celebrate on June 18, from 4-7 p.m. at Junior Achievement in Baltimore.
One of the MACPA’s signature annual events, Elevate & Celebrate is a community-first evening designed to strengthen belonging, reconnect relationships, and celebrate what the profession has built together. This year’s event has been reimagined in honor of MACPA’s 125th anniversary, transforming the annual gathering into a true member celebration focused on connection, community, and pride in the profession’s future.
The event will recognize scholarship recipients alongside the individuals and leaders helping shape the next chapter of accounting and finance in Maryland.
