MACPA Communities & councils

Help shape the future of your MACPA community.

MACPA is creating new ways for members to connect, contribute and help shape the future of the profession and association.

USCPA
NEW MEMBER LEADERSHIP COUNCILS

As part of our enhanced focus on member communities, MACPA is launching two member-led Leadership Councils
focused on:

- Public Accounting

- Management Accounting

These Councils will bring together members from across Maryland to share perspectives, identify emerging needs and opportunities, and help MACPA shape meaningful experiences, resources and connections for our communities.

No previous MACPA committee or volunteer leadership experience is required.

We’re looking for members who are engaged in the profession, willing to share their perspective and interested in helping shape what comes next.

Two Councils, Two Communities

Public Accounting

Public Accounting Leadership Council

Help shape how MACPA serves Maryland's public accounting community.

This Council brings together professionals from firms of different sizes, specialties, career stages and regions of Maryland.

Members will help MACPA stay close to the challenges and opportunities facing firms and their people, identify emerging needs, and shape opportunities for connection, learning and engagement across the profession.

We're especially interested in building a Council that reflects the full breadth of Maryland's public accounting profession — different firm sizes, roles, specialties, career stages and geographic regions.

Management Accounting

Management Accounting Leadership Council

Help shape how MACPA serves accounting and finance professionals working in organizations.

This Council brings together professionals working across businesses, nonprofits, government and other organizations throughout Maryland.

Members will help MACPA better understand the evolving needs of professionals working outside public accounting, and identify opportunities to strengthen connections across the community.

We're looking for a broad mix of perspectives — different industries, organization sizes, roles, career stages and regions of Maryland.

Interested in getting involved? We'd love to hear from you.

Complete the short form below to tell us a little about yourself and which Leadership Council interests you. Council membership will be limited to allow for meaningful conversation and participation, but expressing interest will also help us identify members for other opportunities to contribute and connect.
