Heather Plitt is a Technical Director in the National Assurance Technical Group specializing in State and Local Government entities. She has 18 years of experience in performing audit and other assurance engagements for various state and local government entities, including states, municipalities, school districts, special districts, and pension and post-retirement plans. Heather obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, concentration in Accounting, from the University of Baltimore, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore. She is a licensed CPA in Maryland and Virginia. Heather is a member of the University of Baltimore Accounting Advisory Board, and a Finance Committee and Board Member of the Parks and People Foundation.
