Leona is a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in program management, acquisitions, technical assistance, procurement policy, and compliance; managing and developing diversity program reviews; policy implementation, advocacy, and strategic research. Leona will be discussing post-award, what are your obligations to fulfill the contract, understanding who has the authority to request changes to the work, and the relationship between the contracting officer and your customer.
3:00 p.m. - 3:50 p.m.Representatives from the Small Business Development offices of both the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Irma Alvarez-Alexander and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Cynthia Thompson will discuss and offer resources related to doing business with NAVAIR, NAWCAD, and the Navy, including best practices for presenting your business on bids, marketing your small business, the importance of information in your SAM profile.
