The SECURE Act substantially changed post-mortem RMD rules. This changes prudent lifetime
planning and post-mortem calculations. Regulation and guidance published since provides both
clarification and complication. Bob will provide a timely update regarding the current law and best
practices.
Shortly after the SECURE Act was signed into law, Congress began working on follow-up legislation
to further stimulate retirement saving. This legislation is generally referred to as ‘SECURE 2.0. Bob
will provide an overview of the legislation from a personal finance perspective.
