As the number of students choosing to major in accounting or choosing a CPA pathway have declined significantly over the past several years, what initiatives are being employed to attract both college and high school students to the accounting profession, to support those already in the pipeline, to promote a CPA culture on college campuses, and to address other issues impacting the CPA pipeline? Accounting ethics education has typically focused on "what" the decision maker should choose as the right course of action. In this presentation we will focus on "how" to implement the ethical decision once students know what the right thing to do is. Based on the Giving Voice to Values (GVV) framework, we will examine an experiential learning approach that develops students' ability to convince their opponents and potential allies to fix the wrongdoing.
