This course covers dynamic features in Excel to create charts and dashboards of key performance indicators based on worksheet data ranges, PivotTables, reports created with PowerPivot, and Power BI. The new Microsoft Power BI business analytics tool allows the user to load data and utilize pre-designed dashboards for quick analysis and visualization. In addition, Power BI will be compared to other data visualization tools. Participants will receive take-aways of reference materials and examples.
This is a hands-on class, so please bring your Windows laptop with Microsoft Excel 2016 or Office 365 ProPlus already installed. Prior to the class, you are expected to install the Power BI Desktop app for use in the class. Upon registration, you will instructions on how to do so.
